Figure 2. Amendments in Photoshop

SketchUp is a software where we can adapt these 3D models which is placed based on perspectives and also facilitated with these detailed features - one of those are the adjustment of shadows. This tutorial is conducted for the upcoming assignment 2B. It was fun to learn and go through it, yet still practice is needed.

Lectures
Mr. Mike lectured about the microsite details in processes, including the definition of Informational Architecture (IA), Sitemaps (flowchart), Wireframes. The following video is also shown to give a clearer understanding of the overall process.

Progressions
As consultation was held, me, Kahyee and Jason represented our group to consult to the lecturer.

Purpose (promote,inform/awareness,increase sales) :

The main purpose for the game “overgrowth” is mainly focusing on art or whose structures that focuses to make some type of non-ludological reaction in its players. It will have its unique , unconventional appearance, often standing out for aesthetic beauty or complexity in design and, thus having a greatly designed advert to promote this product. Another purpose of this game is leaning towards the awareness for appreciation of nature since “overgrowth” is relating to nature, pollution and also, corruption.

Goals (drive traffic, increase awareness, capture visitor details):

The main goal of ‘Overgrowth’ is to capture audiences’ attention through visuals of its genres which is open world and that is about the hero that is in a polluted world. This game aims its players to create and develop their own strategies in quests and missions given in the game as it is expected for them to enhance their problem solving skills as they go through the game. ‘Overgrowth’ players are believed to gain advantages for playing this game as they will get a better hand and eye coordination in themselves to better ability to multitask.

Target Audience:
- Teens and Adults who enjoys to play game, specifically in genre of open world, action and fantasy.
- Gamers who are interested to play this type of game.

Mr. Mike commented that we have to refer the purpose and goals to the reason why we make the game's microsite instead of the game itself. So after consulted, we made some changes specifying the 'Game Microsite'.

Revised Purpose

Gain acknowledgment of the game, increase the sales of the game.

Revised Goals

- Gaining microsite & game trailer viewers, email subscriptions as well as followers in social media, hence increasing the sales
- Microsite in 10,000 views within 2 weeks
- Share on social media to redeem free trials of the game’s first episode (to be redeemed on the event), host it live on the spot, traffic
- Game trailer in 5,000 views within 7 days (first thing that pops out from the microsite is the trailer)
- Share your email to redeem vouchers merchandise and the game itself, will be sold during the event
- To get 7,000 email subscriptions within 7 days
- To get 5,000 followers in social medias within 5 days

Feedbacks gained were to be more specific, connect the game’s story and the game secondary environment purpose - makes it unique as he mentioned that the revised purpose and goals could be also applied to any games.
